Elevating a legendary local bakery

The Cookie Company is a family owned business that has been crafting seriously delicious homemade cookies since 1981. They approached me for a freelance website that would be simple to self-manage and would make it easy for customers to find important information. I saw the opportunity to help elevate their digital presence with visuals that would better reflect their fun personality and the joy you feel while eating one of their cookies.

I sketched out a homepage and communicated the strategy of prioritizing access to pricing and store location information, designed a “Style Tile” to communicate the visual language to be used on the website, and then built out a wireframe mockup of the whole site in Figma for final visual and copy review from the client. This ensured development was the quickest part of the process.

The outcome is a site that I am truly proud of. It is fun to look at, loads quickly, and has effectively helped reduce the amount of phone calls the client receives asking for pricing or an address, leaving them more time to do what they do best.
